It is a well known saying that marriages are made in heaven but they are solemnized on earth. Finding a real life partner is very difficult task. It is true that destiny plays a great role in making couples and solemnizing marriages. Marriage is a sacred institution. It is binding between two individuals. When two people marry each other, they agree to live with each other. They started understanding each other's nature. It is a relationship of mutual understanding. A marriage can be arranged or love marriage. There is a difference between love and arranged marriages. In love marriages, both the beloved know and love each other. They have love and liking for each other.Now, dating plays a very important role in love. Dating means when boy and girl go out whether it is picnic, movie, party or some common meeting. The concept of dating is not new to western societies. It is a part of their culture.
But in some countries, like India, Pakistan this concept is new. Earlier, it was a taboo in some societies. A lot of cases can be heard when lovers were hacked to death for no other fault but just of love. Now, dating is accepted in urban and educated societies. With the passage of time, ways of expressing love have changed a lot.There use to be a time, when a boy and gal meeting at secluded places were rare. When two lovers meet at first instance, they generally want to meet again. This is the time when they come to understand each other's feelings. They make various commitments and take certain vows. The promises to live with each other are made. I1f the love is true, it can turn into marriage and this relationship becomes long lasting. But the story does not always end up happily. There are many instances where the lovers part from each other. Many reasons are responsible for this parting. Some times, it is family problems, sometimes it is career and some time it is mutual consent between lovers. The other thing which can turn the things sour is lack of trust and understanding between two lovers. Sometime a partner is flirt. It can break the relationship.
When we talk about arranged marriages, these are type of marriages where boy and girl do not know each other. But they agree to marry each other. This type of marriage is arranged by the parents or relatives. The couple usually started understanding each other after marriage. The adjustment in arranged marriage has to be made because both the partners are new to each other. If both the boy and the girl go on some date before marriage, they can understand each other's nature in advance. Relatives and parents play a great role in this type of marriage to make them adjust easily, so that their worries and difficulties can be sorted out easily.A successful marriage always adds sparks in one life. Making a marriage successful needs trust and patience.Even love marriages break up due to various reasons. Look, marriage and love both are different things. Life of a person changes after marriage. Responsibilities and priorities change after marriage. Both the partners must give some space to each other. There has been alarming cases of divorce now days, the reason being clash of egos. So to make marriage successful and fruitful, a person must be able to react practically to every situation and think rationally.
